Week 'Twenty'



Only the one photo...  The photo a week project is momentarily on the sidelines after a dozy car driver ran me over whilst I was out cycling.  I'm up and about, walking and breathing, but not able to use my right arm for anything for at least another 6 weeks.  At the moment, I feel like I've been hit by a train - just like this one!

    Not a bad shot, has a miniature look to it without the fake lens tricks. Hope you feel better soon.

    Very nice! Steam trains are so much prettier than diesel ones! Glad you're feeling a bit better and hope you keep getting better quickly! x

    Thanks Nikhil, I was trying, using f/1.4, to get the far distance out of focus too, but it's actually pretty tough with a subject 10m away to achieve such things - I can do the maths, but modern lenses just aren't graduated enough to manual focus to enough precision. I think that is the biggest concession to quality brought in by the digital era! Discuss!
